Ahh yes I read a book recently, oh she was in publishing with Ita Buttrose, oh goodness what was her name, anyway she lived on Scotland Island in the Hawkesbury river. They were little Jack Russles I think, they darn well terrorised everything on the Island, as much as she did not want to, she eventually had to get rid on the most naughty one and then the other was fine. So I think you are making the right choice, can understand why the wife changed her mind, how could you not.
