I love this, the contrast with the houses in the foreground to the large building towering over them, the dotting of the pine trees completes this image.

Oh what a gorgeous little bird, so beautifully capture. LOL I did have to read the name twice! I kind of like the angle of the humming bird, a little different to most.

the answer for why you have such contrasting results is due to the soft box it self... the box is basically a directional tunnel... moving it closer will direct the light down this tunnel in its set direction and make your over all image be more darker, ...
the answer for why you have such contrasting results is due to the soft box it self... the box is basically a directional tunnel... moving it closer will direct the light down this tunnel in its set direction and make your over all image be more darker, moving it back with allow it then to spread and this is why it is blowing your image out. moving back and turning the power level down on the flash will help you... I just learn the reason why this happens by reading a new ebook from Brent Pearson on Off Camera Flash ( www.brentpearson.com )
Yep, the closest I get is a frosty plant when we were at Lithgow, there was ice on the car, that was darn minus 6. We hope to be going again this year but earlier in the year, so it will not be as cold.

Are you wanting to clean up some room on your computer? Or looking for a way to use less disk space online without losing image quality? Thanks to XodusEagle for sharing this website with me. This would be good for reducing file size allowing This Histogram (and other sites) to load faster. Try it out and see what you think. Not sure how this will affect any prints but works great for online images.
Hi Tarra, glad you took it that way, I would not like to have offended you. OK FB they are not critiquing so go for it there, the smaller one in the corner or one of Col's I think the best as long as it is not too big. Search the pros on FB and see what you like. I ...

I did this before I wrote my last reply and there are some good ones and some shockers LOL It is great that you are thinking about it.
Honestly, I like the first one better because of all the rocks and waterpools and the cool little details in them. If you want people to be looking at the ocean, coast, and sky then I would say the second one is better for that since the rocks in the ...

People kind of always joke that Ohio is pretty plain and boring, that there's nothing to do there except for Cedar Point. For a road trip just passing through, that's pretty true. But there's lots of fields (which is what makes it boring to drive through) and old barns and stuff that can make some great pictures I think.
